The West Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (WVAND) has been working hard to ensure we keep dietetic licensure. Information about our licensure being in jeopardy was shared on December 8 and December 16. We continue to develop our strategy to make sure registered dietitians, employers, health care teams, the public, and legislators are aware of the importance of our licensure.

Take action!

• Review talking points for why we want licensure.
• Find your legislators and their contact information.
• Adapt template letter, attach the informational flier, and send both to your legislators.
• Make plans to attend EatRight WV Day (Monday, January 17 | Charleston, WV).

Join us for a WVAND Licensure Virtual Townhall on Monday, January 10 at 5:30 pm to ask questions, discuss concerns, and share ideas. WVAND will continue to post information to our Public Policy page as we fight to keep our licensure.
